Tier List

Clover Time Race & Social Class Tier List

S–C rankings for every race and social class, with drop rates, stat lines, and practical reroll targets.

Last updated:

Races and social classes are permanent passive layers in Clover Time. They do not replace your grimoire, but they decide how fast you regenerate, how large your mana pool feels, and how quickly EXP and Yuls stack while you farm crystals. This page ranks both systems, lists community-tracked rates and bonuses, and explains when to stop spinning. Cross-link with the Tier List Hub, traits, and How to reroll before you burn a pity-like streak of race tickets.

Unlike grimoires, race and class power is mostly linear with rarity: higher rarity almost always means better numbers. The interesting choices are which A-tier stops are good enough while you chase S-tier jackpots.

Race tier list

TierRaceRateRole
SDevil0.10%Best overall combat + farm package
AElf0.56%Mana ceiling + strong EXP
AHuman-Dwarf1.43%Balanced regen, mana, EXP
BDwarf3.21%Solid mid-game regen/mana
CHuman94.70%Tutorial default

S — Devil (0.10%)

Devil is the clear race crown:

  • +20% Health
  • +80% HP regen
  • +80% STA regen
  • +80% Mana regen
  • +45% Mana
  • +250 Mana
  • +40% EXP

That mix of pool size, triple regen, and a massive EXP multiplier makes every other system better—grimoire uptime, crystal farms, and level curve. If you hit Devil, stop race spinning and move budget to social class, traits, or grimoire goals.

A — Elf (Mythic 0.56%) and Human-Dwarf (Legendary 1.43%)

Elf bonuses:

  • +30% HP regen
  • +30% STA regen
  • +30% Mana
  • +120 Mana
  • +60% Mana regen
  • +25% EXP

Elf is the spell-caster dream: huge mana pool and regen with serious EXP. Pair it with Mana Sensitive, High Mana, or any Tier I/II book that spams abilities.

Human-Dwarf bonuses:

  • +30% HP regen
  • +3% STA
  • +40% STA regen
  • +15% Mana
  • +40% Mana regen
  • +15% EXP

Human-Dwarf is the practical Legendary chase—easier than Elf/Devil, still packed with regen and EXP. Excellent “account done” race for players who refuse to live on 0.10% hope.

B — Dwarf (Epic 3.21%)

  • +25% HP regen
  • +5% STA
  • +25% STA regen
  • +55 Mana
  • +15% Mana regen

Dwarf lacks an EXP multiplier but feels dramatically better than Human in real fights. Keep Dwarf while you stabilize a grimoire and social class; reroll upward when tickets are plentiful.

C — Human (Common 94.70%)

  • +5% HP regen
  • +5% STA regen
  • +5% Mana regen
  • +5% EXP

Human is fine for the first session and wrong as a long-term main. The tiny EXP line does not make up for weak combat sustain. Plan an early exit via codes spins or shop/boss tickets.

Social class tier list

Social class shares the same customize/rolls ecosystem as race and traits. It leans harder into economy and farm speed.

TierClassRateWhy it ranks
SSovereignMythic 0.56%Best farm: +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls
ARoyalLegendary 1.43%Second-best broad stat package
AMerchantRare 14.72%Easy +10% Yuls cash engine
BNobleEpic 3.21%Playable mid roll
BCommonerUncommon 30.38%Mild bonuses; replace when convenient
CPeasantCommon 49.70%Default filler

S — Sovereign

Sovereign is the farming crown: roughly +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls on top of strong regen-style bonuses. If your loop is fishing → fragments → Mana Crystals → tower, Sovereign pays rent every minute. Stop here when you see it.

A — Royal and Merchant

Royal is the Legendary “almost Sovereign” package—excellent EXP/Yuls/regen hybrid if Mythic will not show up.

Merchant is the smart early stop. At Rare 14.72% with +10% Yuls, it funds rods, crafts, and shop pivots without demanding Legendary tickets. Many efficient accounts live on Merchant for a long time while race spins chase Elf/Devil.

B — Noble and Commoner

Noble is a fine Epic parking spot. Commoner beats Peasant but should not eat serious resources once Merchant+ is available.

C — Peasant

Peasant is the common default (~49.70%). Reroll it the same week you leave Human if tickets allow.

Combined chase targets

Practical end states for most players:

  1. Race: Human-Dwarf or Elf (dream: Devil)
  2. Social class: Merchant now → Royal/Sovereign later
  3. Trait: see Trait tier list — Chosen One / Mana Sensitive
  4. Grimoire: Tier I preferred, Tier II acceptable — grimoires

Budget path for brand-new accounts:

  1. Leave Human / Peasant ASAP.
  2. Accept Dwarf + Merchant as a mid checkpoint.
  3. Lock a Tier II+ grimoire so combat feels fair (how to get a Grimoire).
  4. Spend remaining tickets toward Human-Dwarf/Elf and Royal/Sovereign.
  5. Only greed Devil after your book and economy are stable.

How to reroll race and social class

Two equivalent entrances:

  1. Menu (top right) → Customize → Rolls — flip between Race / Social Class / Traits.
  2. Priest NPC inside the church in starting Hage Village.

Tickets come from the shop, codes, and special boss drops. Do not blow every ticket the minute you unlock the menu—batch spins when you can afford to reach a meaningful rarity band. Full UI walkthrough: How to reroll. Day-one order: Getting Started.

Synergy notes

  • Elf + Mana Sensitive + Tier I book — Maximum spell uptime for PvE.
  • Devil + Chosen One — Tanky hybrid that levels absurdly fast.
  • Merchant + fishing crystal route — Funds grimoire pity without Robux panic.
  • Human-Dwarf + Strong Body — Comfortable mid-account while you wait on Mythics.

For finished loadouts, open Best builds. For ability cadence while testing a new race, skim controls. Watch updates if rates change in beta patches.

Race and class are the quiet multipliers behind every crystal farm. Get off Human/Peasant, park on Merchant, then climb toward Elf/Devil and Royal/Sovereign without ignoring your grimoire floor.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Clover Time questions.

What is the best race in Clover Time?

Devil is S-tier with the strongest mix of health, triple regen, mana, and +40% EXP. Elf and Human-Dwarf are the realistic A-tier targets for most players.

What is the best social class for farming?

Sovereign is the best farm class with about +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls. Merchant is the best early Rare stop thanks to +10% Yuls at a much higher drop rate.

Is Human ever worth keeping?

Only for the first hours. Human is Common at 94.70% with tiny regen and EXP bonuses. Plan to reroll toward Dwarf or better as soon as you have tickets.

How do I reroll race or social class?

Open Menu → Customize → Rolls, or speak to the Priest in the Hage Village church. Both open the same race, social class, and trait roll menus.

Should I chase Devil before a good grimoire?

No. Secure a Tier I or strong Tier II grimoire first so fights feel fair, then invest race tickets into Human-Dwarf/Elf while treating Devil as a jackpot.

Why is Merchant ranked A if it is only Rare?

Because +10% Yuls at 14.72% rate accelerates rods, crafts, and Mana Crystal loops. Efficiency matters more than waiting weeks for Sovereign on a broke account.
