Clover Time Tier List Hub
Community rankings for grimoires, races, social classes, and traits—plus pity, farming, and what to reroll first.
Clover Time on Roblox layers several permanent character systems on top of combat: Grimoires (your magic kit), Races, Social Classes, and Traits. Each one has a different roll pool, rarity curve, and impact on PvE farming, spell uptime, and long-term progression. This Tier List Hub is the map. Use it to decide what to chase, what to keep for now, and which crystals or rerolls are worth spending.
Meta shifts as AnimeCore Studio patches move sets and rates, so treat these ranks as a current community consensus for early access—not a forever bible. Cross-check the deep pages when you are about to burn a pity threshold or a stack of Mana Crystals.
How to use this hub
Start with the system that gates your damage kit, then shore up passive farming stats:
- Grimoire first — Your spells define clear speed and fight identity. See the full Grimoire tier list.
- Race second — Flat regen, mana pool, and EXP multipliers stack every fight. See Races & social classes.
- Trait third — Smaller passives, but Mythic/Legendary traits are huge quality-of-life. See the Trait tier list.
- Social class in parallel — Especially if you need Yuls or EXP while grinding crystals. Full ranks: Social Class Tier List.
New players should also skim Getting Started, How to get a Grimoire, and How to reroll before dumping every spin into one pool.
Snapshot: Grimoire tiers
Grimoires are ranked by move variety and PvE damage, not by rarity alone. Community tiers currently look like this:
- Tier I — Anti Magic, Poison
- Tier II — Ice, Explosive Flame, Battle Lightning
- Tier III — Chain, Water, Snow, Earth, Fire
Anti Magic and Poison lead for flexible kits and meta clear speed. Ice, Explosive Flame, and Battle Lightning are strong alternatives if you hit them before pity. Tier III books still clear content; they just ask for better play or stronger passives from races and traits.
Roll at the Grimoire Tower with Mana Crystals. Finral in the starting village can teleport you there; you can also fly or walk toward compass heading roughly 105–120. Crystals come from chests, open-world finds, crafting with fragments (Mana Wolves and similar), and fishing loops. Pity currently sits around Epic 35 / Legendary 70 / Mythical 175—track your counter before you soft-pity spend.
Details, farming routes, and kit notes live on the Grimoires page. Pair a top book with a best build once your kit stabilizes.
Snapshot: Race tiers
Race bonuses are mostly linear with rarity. Higher rarity almost always means stronger regen, mana, and EXP.
| Tier | Race | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| S | Devil (0.10%) | Best overall: huge HP/STA/Mana regen, +250 Mana, +40% EXP |
| A | Elf (0.56%), Human-Dwarf (1.43%) | Elf = mana monster + EXP; Human-Dwarf = balanced regen/EXP |
| B | Dwarf (3.21%) | Strong regen/mana without EXP |
| C | Human (94.70%) | Tiny all-rounder; fine for tutorial only |
Human is the default for nearly everyone. Keep it only until you have spare race rerolls. Dwarf is a respectable mid-game stop. Elf and Human-Dwarf are the realistic chase targets for most accounts; Devil is the jackpot. Full percentages and stat lines are on the races page.
Snapshot: Social class tiers
Social class sits next to race in the same customize/rolls UI. It leans into farming economy—EXP and Yuls—more than raw combat tanks. For the dedicated deep dive (full rate table, S–C ranks, and reroll stop rules), open the Social Class Tier List.
| Tier | Class | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Sovereign (Mythic 0.56%) | Best farm: +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls plus strong regen |
| A | Royal (Legendary 1.43%), Merchant (Rare 14.72%) | Royal = second-best stats; Merchant = easy +10% Yuls cash |
| B | Noble (Epic 3.21%), Commoner (Uncommon 30.38%) | Playable mid rolls |
| C | Peasant (Common 49.70%) | Default filler—reroll when convenient |
Merchant is the sleeper pick: high rate, immediate wallet help for rods, crystals, and shop loops. Sovereign is the long-term farm crown. Race context still lives on races & social classes; class-only planning should prefer the Social Classes page.
Snapshot: Trait tiers
Traits add another passive layer. Early on, Fast Learner and Coin Eye feel great; later you want Rare+.
| Tier | Traits |
|---|---|
| S | Chosen One (Mythic 0.56%), Mana Sensitive (Legendary 1.43%) |
| A | High Mana (Rare), Strong Body (Epic) |
| B | Fast Learner (Uncommon), Coin Eye (Common) |
| C | Iron Lungs, Thick Skin, Steady Hands |
Chosen One spreads bonuses across HP, stamina, mana, regen, and EXP. Mana Sensitive dumps hard into mana regen for spell spam. Full effects and roll rates are on the traits page.
Reroll priority (practical order)
Resources are finite in beta. A sane spend order:
- Secure a Tier I or strong Tier II grimoire so fights feel fair—see how to get a Grimoire.
- Move race off Human toward Dwarf+, then Elf / Human-Dwarf, keeping Devil as a dream pull.
- Park social class on Merchant (or better) for Yuls while you farm crystals.
- Push traits toward High Mana / Strong Body, then Mana Sensitive / Chosen One.
- Claim codes whenever spins or Mana Crystals drop, and watch updates for rate changes.
Reroll UI: Menu → Customize → Rolls, or talk to the Priest in the Hage Village church. Same pools for race, social class, and traits. Grimoire spins stay at the tower.
Synergy tips
- Spell spam builds: Elf or Devil + Mana Sensitive / High Mana + Tier I grimoire.
- Farm alts: Sovereign or Merchant + Fast Learner early, then swap trait upward.
- Budget clears: Keep a Tier II book, invest crystals into fishing/crafting, and do not over-reroll C-tier traits.
- Controls comfort: Learn dodge and ability cadence on controls before blaming a Tier III kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Clover Time questions.
What should I reroll first in Clover Time?
Prioritize a Tier I or strong Tier II grimoire for clear speed, then move race off Human toward Dwarf or better, park social class on Merchant+, and push traits toward Rare or higher. Use Menu → Customize → Rolls or the Hage Village priest for race/class/trait spins.
Are grimoire tiers based on rarity?
No. Community grimoire tiers weigh move variety and PvE damage. Anti Magic and Poison lead Tier I even when other books share similar rarity bands. See the Grimoire tier list for kit notes and pity thresholds.
What is the best race right now?
Devil is S-tier with the strongest package of health, regen, mana, and EXP. Elf and Human-Dwarf are the realistic A-tier chase targets for most players. Human is C-tier filler.
Is Merchant worth keeping?
Yes for early and mid game. Merchant is Rare with a strong +10% Yuls bonus, making rods, shop buys, and crystal loops cheaper. Sovereign remains the long-term S-tier farm class.
Where do I roll grimoires versus traits?
Grimoires roll at the Grimoire Tower with Mana Crystals (Finral can teleport you). Race, social class, and traits share the Customize → Rolls menu or the church priest in Hage Village.
How often does this tier list change?
Whenever AnimeCore Studio adjusts kits, rates, or pity. Recheck this hub and the child pages after major updates, and verify pity counters in-game before spending soft pity.
